There is nothing strange.... loglevel is on 3 Sep 8 14:06:39 capricorn vdr: [1493] CAM 1: assigned to device 1 Sep 8 14:07:38 capricorn vdr: [1493] PANIC: watchdog timer expired - exiting!

Can you tell me how can I reproduce it? I was doing this kind of tests and everything works flawlessly. I assume you are using latest plugin version and latest development vdr (2.1.6), right?

Yes..... vdr 2.16 to reproduce just shut down your cardserver or remove the network cable.... thats all.....
