restore desktop configuration does not relaod widgets. #24

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.back up settings and desktop configuration
2.uninstall app. Reinstall app
3.restore desktop configuration 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All spaces where Widgets should be say Problem loading widget.

What version of the product are you using? On what phone? What Android
version?
Lastest build 1.1.3 on froyo nexus one. 

Please provide any additional information below.

This isn't a bug with ADW, this will happen using any launcher if you try to 
restore widgets on the homescreens after either a wipe or an uninstall.

Wait a minute - so you are saying this is EXPECTED?  what is the purpose of the 
backup/restore function then.  It sounds like its EXPECTED to not do anything 
useful??

1) It restores everything BUT widgets, so it is far from useless and 2) He's 
trying to say it's not ADW'a fault, it's a limitation with stock Android.

I guess because 75% of my launcher screens are widgets and not shorcuts is why 
I see it for what I do.  

So, maybe an easier way to rebuild the widgets then instead?  Now I have to 
remove each one, and add it all over again...
