Better tap and hold support

I would love it if a few features were added so that other Home
developers may use it:

1) ability to remove the tap and hold on a widget for moving purposes

2) ability to add context menus to tap and hold based on where the
user taps and holds

This would allow much more power.  Within this context menu a
Programmer can add the move command but right now it takes up a
situation that may be used for many more features.

Please consider this.

I wish I could - I am not a Android Programmer.  I have done some programming 
on the desktop but nothing professional and Android Programming is beyond me.  
Currently, I am just an Android user.  

I would not know how to do it - I wish someone would do it so that it can be 
put in all the launchers and give people more power.

Did anyone look at this?  This would be a very powerful and useful feature for 
Widget developers.
