I downloaded the Beta 20 image and wrote it to an SD card. Upon starting the phone, I attempted to log in but mistyped the default passcode (123456). After that it was no longer possible to log in even when typing the passcode correctly; I just got booted back to the login screen.
I shut down the phone and rebooted it, and this time I was able to log in with the default passcode (having typed it correctly the first time).
