Stuck on boot splash on Pinephone Pro after updating #37

If I try to boot Manjaro Phosh on the Pinephone Pro while the modem is switched off, I get stuck on the boot splash. Any time I switch it back on, it's then able to boot.

Just reinstalled, and after updating with pacman -Syu, I seem to be stuck on the boot splash regardless of whether the modem is on now. Maybe there's something else going on here.
