After installing updates from app and reboot-It is stuck at "Installing updates" screen #16

So I have tried a few recent dev builds on sd card and after downloading and installing updates and selecting the reboot option. After reboot it displays the screen "Installing updates" with the spinning wheel but I have left this for a considerable time and it never seems to finish and login to the os.

I have it on charge so not sure what the delay is.

If I force it to power off then the update will be corrupt and I have to re-flash the software on the sd card - so its a vicious cycle at present.

But I really like this software.

I unplugged from the charger and the message "Installing updates" disappeared and it then restarted and while holding the power down to force it to restart to the sd card it finally finished the update. To confirm this I checked in the terminal for updates "sudo pacman -Syu" and none found. So it did complete the updates from the front end app "Discover". Maybe this is a workaround for others facing the same problem.
