The "--timeout" option sometimes doesn't work #94

OS: Manjaro JWM 17.0.1 Gellivara Kernel: Linux 4.9.24-1-MANJARO x86_64 Software: pacman-mirrors 4.0.4-1 Branch: stable

Steps to reproduce it:

  1. sudo pacman-mirrors -g -t 5

    1.995 Greece         : http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/manjaro/
7.075 Hungary        : http://mirror.infotronik.hu/mirrors/pub/manjaro/
2.440 Indonesia      : http://kambing.ui.ac.id/manjaro/
6.346 Indonesia      : http://kartolo.sby.datautama.net.id/manjaro/
..... Indonesia      : http://jaran.undip.ac.id/manjaro/
.: Error timed out 'http://jaran.undip.ac.id/manjaro/'

1.490 Ireland        : https://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/manjaro/

    More than 7 seconds for a server in Hungary. More than 6 seconds for a server in Indonesia.

Please update to pacman-mirrors version 4.1.1

SSL enabled mirrors generally takes longer time and are given (timeout * 2) seconds to respond.
