What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable bluetooth on android device and HTPC running android, disable WiFi
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected is the remote working over bluetooth, observed is an error "no
network" or "Wifi needed" error

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
v0.8.6-beta1 (build: rev 768)

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
Sony Ericson X10i experia

Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
10.1 Darma on Linux Natty (11.04)

Please provide any additional information below.
If I'm correct, bluetooth consumes only a fraction of battery compared to WiFi.
Furthermore, WiFi tends to go to 'sleep' after a little inactivity. Disabling
WiFi-sleep consumes major battery power. Bluetooth range is ~10m, which is
sufficient in 99% of the cases.

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I searched issues, and fora, but
came up blank.

I would greatly appreciate this improvement, as I have no WiFi setup at home
but bluetooth permanently enabled for headset connection.
Furthermore I did not get the remote control feature not working with eden and
HTC Desire, wich most probably is not a network issue.

I'd also love this feature. My idea is to use raspbmc in a car and Bluetooth
makes a lot of sense in this case.
