Localization and year/month navigation #2

Hello, it would be very useful if: 1) the months and weekdays are localized with the system language as the rest of the client. 2) the visual allows to navigate through the months and years of the data

Thanks for the feedback @VosaXalo!

  1. Localizing this visual against the 44 locales supported by Power BI will be quite time consuming and may happen slowly over time. Let me know what locales / languages would you like to see, and I can look to prioritize those.
  2. Agreed that it would be nice to have the ability to navigate through months within the visual itself. I am looking into options for how to best implement this.

Regarding the localization, in my case the language I'm interested would be Italian.

Hi @JanWei2379- I am planning on localization being the key new feature in the next non-patch release. Unfortunately, I don't have an exact timeline for that release just yet, but I am hoping to get started on it soon! I have added German to the list of languages I am prioritizing for the release. Stay tuned!

Hi, Regarding localization, is it possbile just to add option to switch decimal and thousands separators? I would like to have dot as thousand separataor and comma as decimal, like it is in most European countries. Thanks!

@azzlack Unfortunately I don't have any new update regarding the navigation feature that has been requested. By all means, feel free to submit a pull request with this feature and I'd be happy to review it!
