Just because there is speech you don't like; doesn't give us the right to spam the speech away. Pray for them. Post responses that tear down the ideas you disagree wth.

@neoadventist thank you for your thoughts. the idea is to use tools like this as political protest and not spam.

I'd imagine the questions raised by this technology fit into a long discussion about the potential for the political process to be spammed or front-run. The abstract behavior of this script has elements of both spam (it responds to every tweet regardless of content) and front-running (it does it before the "rest of world" has time to react, and gains an advantage). It's easy to imagine it being abused, or just used by someone one doesn't agree with. Twitter's emphasis on chronological ordering of posts enables it. But, it seems they take other factors into account: a heavily-retweeted post pointing out that the Orlando shooter was an American citizen was displayed above an automated "Delete your account." post, despite it being tweeted after the "Delete your account." tweet. Ultimately a platform's feed algorithms should probably be robust against the strategy this script uses, and it seems that this is partially the case with Twitter. More transparency about this on their part would of course be good.

I think in this particular case (tweeting "Delete your account." at Trump), use of this type of program is political protest speech, and does not negatively effect the discourse. It "boosts" a statement of HRC which has become a sort of slogan for people upset with Trump's rhetoric, and results in many heated replies, which are telling in their content. It works like the cheer or boo of a crowd, with all the same benefits and dangers.

@mannynotfound Should not the act of protesting require some work on behalf of the protester? Running this script seems out of spirit with that. is the goal to annoy him?

Not getting any of these errors. You need to make sure you have the latest build pack and be on the master branch. Also make sure you have the latest ethics module installed @befreestudios
