Deadline option #143

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

There should be an option to chose between production started or finished for
the deadline. often it is more interesting to know how fast am i able to start
the upgrade x for example.

Well just... look for when it was started in the detailed view oO?

I'd mark this as invalid issue... since it just doesn't make sense to me.
(anyone against that?)

I think it kind of goes against what EC tries to accomplish--finding a build order that gives you a certain number of *completed* units and upgrades.

If you want to find out when you can start an upgrade, you could give it the
necessary prerequisites for the upgrade. For example, researching Flyer Attack
Level 1 requires a Spawning Pool, a Lair, then a Spire.

I'd found this option very usefull and have seen comments at the teamliquid
thread mentioned the same.

100% agreed, if i want to force 12 hatch 13 pool as my opening, its a pain to
do this with completion waypoints. It'd be nice to have a secondary method of
forcing build orders, either by food or by start time, at least for waypoints.

EKlipzDJ: I think your complaint is a separate issue, I'll search and create
one for it if it doesn't exist.
