What do you want?
An option to disable the green flashing bars in serial monitor.
Why do you want it?
Flashing lights are excellent for warning of imminent disasters (tornados,
floods, tsunamis, earth quakes and nuclear strikes come to mind), but truly
annoying otherwise.
How do you suggest it's added?
Whichever way will allow me to never ever see the flashing bars again.
Will it cause any incompatibility problems with previous versions?
Not likely.
