download manager behaviour #716

When I want to download/save anything, but press "Cancel" in the file save file 
dialog, the 
download manager pops up, saying "Download cancelled" - why is that needed? 

Personally, I think that if I've cancelled the download, I don't need to see it 
in the dowload 
manager at all. 

The thing that annoys me the most is that I have to close the download window, 
popping out 
after cancelling a download.
