Cannot load two instances of Arora

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load Arora.
2. Attempt to load Arora again.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected behavior: load a second, functioning instance of Arora.
Observed behavior: Arora button appears on the taskbar, but Arora fails to 
load; 
original Arora instance hangs; eventually, second Arora instance disappears.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Arora 0.10.2-3 on Arch Linux 64-bit with KDE SC 4.4.0.

Launching a second arora should contact the first one and tell it to spawn a 
new window.  The fact that it can't 
communicate is troubling
