Is The Project Dead? #950

It's been a few years since I've looked in on this project and with the rush of 
Firefox and the Mozilla cycle madness, I figured it was time to start looking 
for a great alternative, only to be disappointed to see there hasn't been a 
stable release since 2010...

Is this project dead, or are there going to be any new releases coming out soon?

The world of Linux could really use a great alternative...

There are no future releases planned.  Patches come in now and then and they 
are merge in when that occurs but there isn't any real active development on it.
