Preview Tab: Sliceviewer Cut Controls

Describe the bug

The region selection that is built into the sliceviewer is still useful to the Reflectometry instrument scientists.

At the moment, this is buggy and conflicts with the regions we've added. These controls should be reasonably mutually exclusive.

• [ ] Allow selection of cut regions without interfering with our signal/background/transmission regions.
• [ ] Allow use of the sliceviewer's shortcuts to make cut workspaces. This already appears on the GUI, so it's actually doubly confusing that it doesn't work. We may just not be picking up these keypresses.

We've had reports of crashes when using the preview tab, that although we do not have steps to reproduce, it seems linked to using the slice viewer controls in the tab. A thorough investigation would be useful.
