Convert to MatrixWorkspace option crashes if QtiPlot table has columns of non-numeric types #6519

This issue was originally TRAC 5673

Create a new Table (qtiplot).

  1. Convert to MatrixWorkspace option of the Table menu isn't working.
  2. Change the type of one of the columns to Text and set its plot designation to None.
  3. Go to "Table->Convert to TableWorkspace" menu. Unexpected exception dialog.
