North Africa Contours stop at 39%

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Starting program to do initial download
2.Restarting program
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is that the North Africa contours complete.

Sticks at:
Contours 24N 12E: Downloading SRTM data - Attempt no.1 - africa_north 39% 
completed.
I have 3 regions selected, North Africa was the 3rd, moved it to the 1st, but 
still sticks at 39%, Did notice that the javaw.exe process was using 80+% CPU 
and osm2garmin had frozen on a couple of occasions.

Just to add:
Java was updated a couple of days ago.
I'm using the 64bit version of java for osm2garmin

Manually downloaded both N24E012.hgt.zip and N24E013.hgt.zip and restarted 
osm2garmin, still sticks in the same place as above.

thank you for your interest in the software. Please provide the following 
information for the assessment of the problem:

- Version of the OSM2Garmin software you are using (currently recommended 
version is 1.2 Build 260)
- report.log located in the program working directory
- messages.log located somewhere here (under Windows): 
c:/users/<your-username>/AppData/roaming/osm2garmin/dev/var/log/

Sorry, the recommended build number is 266. It incorporated some fixes 
concerning problems with SRTM data.

Hello, Thanks for getting back so quickly.
Due to the freezing problem I have I found Issue 108 and have just updated to 
build 266.
This appears to have cured the problem I have with the North Africa contours, 
is passed the 39% mark, but didn't complete due to the freezing problem.

Dear user, I do not see any problem in the attached logs. Creation of contours 
simply can take long time under some circumstances. Please be patient. If there 
will be no progress at all in several hours, please stop processing and upload 
logs again.

Hello, The problem was that osm2garmin froze, looks like a problem with the 
Planet update download.
I found the option to skip to update and the contour creation is processing, 
it's taking a long time, but it is running.
So, looks like this problem was corrected in the build 266 update.
I'll continue to update the issue 108 about the freezing problem.
