What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.Generate maps using all defaults

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected to see buildings, but they are rendered in the same shade as 
background. Would be nice if rendered result would show them, something like 
when using the mapnik TYP on http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl or even better the 
bicycle map layer on http://www.openstreetmap.org

Dear user, you can provide your own styles and other customization of generated 
maps using argument files.

Click Open/close argument files editor icons and follow instructions and 
examples presented in each sample argument file. Update files according to your 
needs and save them. Rerun maps processing for changes to take place.

Find more information concerning the utilities in the mkgmap help (opens with 
the editors) and online in the resources presented in the manual.
