Trouble understanding mappings #26

I don’t understand exactly where the ID number for each device is for mappings.

I see your examples 1,2,3… but I am lost as to how you find these numbers. I’m certain it is simple, but just thought I would ask instead of continuing to look.

When the plugin starts it will scan your Omni controller for all named objects (ie. devices) and will show them in the log with their corresponding ID numbers. For me it looks like this:

[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] Found: Omni LTe [Firmware version: 4.0b]
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] Areas found: 1
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] 1: Area 1

[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] 1: Entry Smoke [FireEmergency]

[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] 33: Strobe [Output]
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] 34: Garage Door [Output]
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] 41: GARAGE DOOR [Flag]
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] Buttons found: 1
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] 1: Garage Door
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] Thermostats found: 0
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] Access Controls found: 0
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] Auxiliary Sensors found: 0
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] Audio Sources found: 0
[3/2/2023, 9:28:16 AM] [Omni] Audio Zones found: 0

The number to the left of each device found is the ID. So for me the ID of the "Hall PIR" is 9 for example

You can see the full set of ID numbers using the "PC Access" tool but it only runs in Windows I believe
