Multi-selecting with "swept held" left click fails #25

Intermittently, multi-selecting by this method fails, leaving the outline of 
the area intended to be selected even after the mouse button is released, with 
nothing actually selected.

I found that this happens only if you release mouse button outside the canvas. 
Did you find any additional scenarios?

I don't think I realized that it had to do with it being outside the canvas, 
but it makes sense based on what I was trying to do .... multiselect stuff that 
was immediately adjacent to the edge.
