Can't reopen files that contain images #26

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
3.0.6beta

Files that contain images cannot be reopened. Not sure if this is a more
general problem.
There seem to be other problems with images too, including failure to display
image (jpeg) on load.

hm, I just tried and it worked. I attached a file that contains jpeg, can you
please try to load it on your machine?

Thanks for the log. There's something very weird going on because log says it
failed while loading vero board from the file and there aren't any in my test
file, just one image.

OK, I tried again to make sure it's not a problem on my end. Here's the new log.

The problem just MIGHT have something to do with scaling an image before trying
to save.

that log makes more sense than the previous one. Looks like it couldn't find
the bitmap, is that with my file or yours? If it's yours, would you mind
sharing either the jpeg or the whole diy file so I can try here? Did you try
with any other jpeg?
thanks for help

That's with your Test5.diy file...

Just a thought...could it be a path specific issue... perhaps it's always
expecting bitmaps to be in a particular place?

shouldn't be path specific because it embeds the image into the DIY file. I
tried it on another windows and one linux machine and worked fine on both :(

I'm having the exact same problem. I can't get my file open now. It is not
listed as a .diy file
