Compnents sticking together #32

Using 3.0.6 Beta on Ubuntu 10.10.

I put four components on top of each other, then selected the top component and
clicked Send to Back a few times and Send to Front. (I found that Send to Back
sends the component down one component rather than to the back which I expected
- but this is more useful, it's just that the command seems wrongly named,
maybe "Towards Back" or "Down one Layer" would be better.)
I then tried to move my originally selected component away from the others, but
it was stuck to them. I tried "Ungroup", but the only way I found to unstick
them was to select a component, Edit it and rotate it 90o clockwise.

Saved file and log file attached.

I'll rename those two options.
As for sticking to each other, select the component you want to unstuck, hold
ctrl and then drag it (this is suggested in the status bar of the app), or just
drag one of its control points that is stuck to another components. Version
3.0.7 will have an option to turn off sticky points.
Group/Ungroup does something else (like corel draw)
cheers

Good.
That works - sorry I didn't spot the message on the status bar. I think I have
got into the habit of ignoring status bars because they usually seem to tell
you lots of things you really don't need to know - obvious not true in this
case! I didn't understand what 'control points that are stuck' are, I've tried
doing this to the pins but that doesn't work. An option to turn off sticky
points would be good. I haven't found any sign of a help file, I'd be willing
to help write something if there isn't.

There is a manual (Help -> User manual or something like that), you can find it
here as well http://code.google.com/p/diy-layout-creator/wiki/Manual
It still lacks the information, if you are willing to contribute just join the
project and I'll make you a developer so you can edit the wiki.

Thanks,
Bane
