When you select multiple objects (like a number of traces or a bunch of 
components) you can only modify the values that are exactly the same. I'd like 
to be able to override that and change values, for example color or alpha, even 
though they're not exactly the same to begin with. Perhaps a little "enable 
editing" checkbox that unlocks the field.

multi-valued boxes are shown yellow and are not applied until they are manually 
modified
