Drag select multiple items selects other items not in or near the selection #64

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a relatively crowded .diy file
2. Drag select a few items
3. Move the selection and notice seemingly random other items move too.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.8 on Win7 x64

Attached is the .diy file I made which noticed this in.
In this example, drag selecting from R16 to C8 it also selects R3, D1 and D2. 
This has been repeatable between opening and closing the program, but the last 
time I opened it, I couldn't reproduce it. I do a lot of zooming in and out and 
running "garbage collection", not sure if any of that is to do with it.

Further experimentation it seems to happen more often if I zoom out to 50% or 
66% in one file, then open another file. It keeps the zoom, but misbehaves in 
this way. (I do most work at these zoom levels).
