This might be a bit bigger than most other suggestions I've come up with but 
here goes anyway.

On 98% of the components I add to any given circuit is one of 12 different 
components (trace, curve trace, resistor, film cap, elec cap, ic, transistor, 
pot, switch, board, wire and text). These are spread on six different tabs. 
While the tabs are quite easy to navigate it would be nice to be able to 
configure my own tab(s) with my selection of components.

added "Recently used" tab instead
