issue with Elevation on Token #253

Open BrinFatherson opened 1 year ago

Hi I am running v10 build 291 DnD5e. when I try to implement the module Drag Ruler it causes any elevation on the character to revert to 0 as soon as you move the token. If I disable Drag Ruler this doesn't occur. Problem comes, I really don't want Drag Ruler disabled. Do you guys know of a fix ? Thanks in advance.

This sounds like behavior from Elevation Ruler's integration with Drag Ruler. Are you using that module? When dragging the endpoint defaults to 0 elevation (for some reason).

Ah, thank you! I'll check it out later. I am using Elevation ruler, not too fussed about that module, nice to have but not so necessary. Hopefully if I can disable that I'll be able to use Drag ruler again. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the help

I can confirm that the setting changes mentioned in https://github.com/caewok/fvtt-elevation-ruler/issues/16 work.

1) Tick "Add token elevation control" in the Elevation Ruler module. 2) In the toolbar on the left, enable "Prefer Token Elevation".
