I just figured out the problem. Android-vnc-viewer does not support encryption
(which enterprise version supports). Once I disable encryption I am able to
connect.
Can you possibly add support for encryption in a future release?
Thanks

I agree, it would be great if encryption was supported in a future release. I
experienced the same problem trying to connect to my Real VNC Enterprise
servers.

Can't connect my DROID to VNC4.4 - no encryption, no password. VNC on other
computers
can connect just fine so I know the VNC Service is working.
I've shut down and rebooted the DROID.
Still no connection.
I have this same problem with Android-VNC and VNC100. I've tried various color
settings. Still no go.
Any suggestions?

Setting encryption to "Prefer on" works with RealVNC E4.5.3, while continuing
to allow encrypted connection from clients that support it.

As I understand it: the reason to buy RealVNC - is that it provides full
encryption (also login) - as the only VNC client, so it should be safe over
internet/public hotspots.
I found this nice application when searching for terme "realvnc" in the market.
Prettyplease, support RealVNC's encryption, it works fine if encryption is not
required, but that defies the reason to use RealVNC.
Thank you,

BTW; regarding what I wrote, it's with RealVNC 4.5.4 for Linux, on Ubuntu 10.10
- All authentication methods work, unless encryption is enabled (then it's
impossible to log-in)

I would like to request that support for OpenSSL encryption be added, the kind
that x11vnc uses. x11vnc from the Ubuntu repositories (0.9.9-1) with options
"usepw" "display :0" just works with android-vnc-viewer (it doesn't after the
update, but that is probably something I did).
I know my router's WiFi is encrypted, but it would just be insecure on the
public internet.
You guys should have a 'donate "app" ' on Android Market. I am impressed with
this vnc client you have developed, but OpenSSL support will make it excellent.

sorry, it doesn't after the update of android-vnc-viewer, not of x11vnc. didn't
say which in inital comment
