Installation Issue in latest mkdocs #2

I'm currently using mkdocs version 1.0.4 and python version 2.7.13 When I try to install the plugin, it's throwing out an error message that "could not find a version that satisfies the requirement."

Sorry but this plugin requires python version >= 3.5
