You have to root your device first

The Lifehacker write-up said rooting was only needed if you wanted to
automatically tunnel all applications, not if you only wanted to pick from the
list.

I see the Market entry now has a new Notice 3 that mentions rooting is needed
for both approaches.

Normal practice is to put this in Line 1, not at the bottom so users - and
reviewers - don't miss that crucial weakness if the app simply doesn't apply at
all unless the device is rooted

This is really a issue, I have added some detection codes in the new edition.
Users without root permission will get a warning at first.

BTW, if you know how to set up your phone's proxy, there is no need to root
your device, just manually set the proxy as 127.0.0.1:1984 ("1984" here is what
local proxy you set in the app).
