Slowing down shell #3

When I enable More-columns-in-applications-view, it slowing down my the whole gnome shell.

For example, when I lock my PC (More-columns-in-applications-view DISABLED) it takes 0.3ms

But when (More-columns-in-applications-view DISABLED) it takes 2s.

Same thing when I boot up, it's too slow.

Do you have any idea ?

The default number of columns is "hardcoded" ( https://github.com/GNOME/gnome-shell/blob/master/js/ui/appDisplay.js line 35) so this extension needs to do some absurd crap, and reload the whole application grid, so yes it's too long to start, but i didn't find a better way to do it for now.
