Drawing does not follow GNOME HIG writing style #572

GNOME have a Human Interface Guidelines.

It seems that Drawing does not follow the GNOME writing style.

Header Capitalization

Header capitalization should be used for any headings, including headings in header bars, tab titles, and view titles. It should also be used for short control labels that do not normally form proper sentences, such as button labels, switch labels and menu items.

I may try and correct these issues, but there are both pros and cons to consider.

english isn't my native language so i don't know what makes sense for you, you can change the english version as much as you want to make it more intuitive, more standard, or more compliant with whatever typographic convention americans prefer

but this kind of "guideline" is so anglocentric i don't even know why it's part of the HIG in the first place... Capitalization doesn't work the same in all languages so translators shouldn't be bothered by this at all, they'll keep doing what makes sense in their language.

for example if "New image" becomes "New Image" you should carefully search-and-replace it in the POT and PO files instead of letting gettext add hundreds of irrelevant "fuzzy"

i try to use as much GioMenuModels as possible so 95% of the labels should be menu items: after a quick glance at the absolutely-not-HIG-compatible-but-quite-handy hidden menubar, it looks like a mixed bag. I think i respected the guideline in the past and then forgot about it?
