It would be nice if the export tool could automatically add some of the metadata (not necessarily all of it) to a map registry of some form. Something that keeps track of the maps that have been produced in the field.

Currently this is done manually, when the field team remember, and so there is rarely a document at the end of the mission that summaries what maps/ products have been produced.

In addition to the above some questions required for monitoring and evaluation also needed to be asked and captured at the export stage. Questions might include - what was the trigger for the map, who made the request, etc.
