What does it mean? Did Mapbox lose interest in a flutter plugin?
When it comes to supporting cross platform SDKs as flutter-mapbox-gl or react-native-mapbox-gl, which are wrappers on top of https://github.com/mapbox/mapbox-gl-native/. We can't provide the enterprise grade support that these projects and their users deserve. By moving this to an external repository, we want to create a open source community for running these projects. If you are interested in collaborating, please reach out to @yoavrofe or me.
That's said, does the official team plan to contribute to those project to help covering basics features ?

Have you considered contracting someone to do the maintenance or at least the initial setup for v10 ? felix-ht who is active on the flutter mapbox repository seemed to be down for the job and estimated the work to two weeks for migration to v10. Maybe contacting him so he can get financial benefits from that could be a solution.
I know you probably don't have anything to do with the business decisions at mapbox, I'm just throwing it out here that this "we want to create a open source community" translates to "we do not find flutter a worthy investment currently, but are welcoming free labor", that's blunt.
We are moving this project to be a OS community driven project. We need to update the documentation / repo description to point to this new repository and archive this repository.
