Sorry for dropping the ball on this @natslaughter! My illustrator skills are lacking. Do you want to open a PR with the icons you posted in your comment?

@mollymerp no problem!

In the recent weeks, we have been reorganizing the Maki repo and figuring out a more streamlined process for icon design work. Part of this (hopefully more efficient) process is making sure the design process is documented in the issue ticket, and the icon design has been completed before creating a PR.
