Hmm thanks for the feedback @ClareTrainor. I made it shorter:

But at scale if feels pretty short compared to the other Maki icons. I'm realizing now that I made it a bit taller to feel a bit more balanced with other icons that feature a human like bicycle-share and racetrack-cycling. I think I'm inclined to keep it as is.
