How would you feel about 🚢 this and planning a refactor of the function interface in a subsequent PR? The sooner we can merge this PR the better because it isn't (as far as I know) possible to rebase a merge like this. If anything gets committed to mapbox-gl-style-spec, I need to recreate this branch from scratch.
