Source data missing #1326

I created a new source, added a data layer which appeared correctly and can be edited/styled locally. However when I upload it to Mapbox and copy the map ID into my style project as a layer, the layer can't be edited and doesn't appear in the data tab.

First thing would be to check at https://www.mapbox.com/uploads/ if the upload was successful or it is still being processed.

Also, if the upload was successful you should see the map ID in Mapbox Studio above the Upload to Mapbox button, e.g.:
