Adjacent labels disappearing #50

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have 95 tiles in the project.  The first tile and sometimes the 
second will display the adjacent tile numbers, but as I move to the third 
tile the adjacent labels are nowhere to be found.  Also, the labels don't 
export to PDF at all unless I actually print to PDF.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting to see 8 labels, but nothing displays or exports after first or 
second tile viewed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ArcMapBook for 9.3 (Feb. '09)

Please provide any additional information below.
On some tiles a partial display of adjacent labels will occur.  I've also 
had some labels actually become part of the template where I had to delete 
them.  Very inconsistent.  Thanks.

I'm not sure this is a mapbook-specific issue. I've had similar 
appearing/disappearing label problems on map compositions where I've not been 
using 
mapbook. The only cure I found at the time was to convert the labels to 
annotation, 
which is not likely to help with this situation. Sorry.
