Make it easy to make Custom buttons in Picasa

It is possible to create custom buttons inside Picasa.

This is quite a drag however, with quite some xml file manipulations,... It 
shouldn't be too difficult to provide some screens in PicasaStarter to make 
this easier...

Wondering if this function will be able to import already made buttons. Some of 
Bryan's buttons that use an external .cmd file might benefit, and how about 
things like the Facebook button that is already downloadable into Picasa.

Yep, good idea, but it won't be in my first implementation as it is quite some 
extra work... Maybe best make it a seperate feature request?

when in the Picasa Buttons tab, perhaps the Help should provide help for 
buttons - not the same help as the databases tab.

I mentioned via mail that I was looking for a way to get the "script" buttons 
work without a vendor-lockin (aka without needing Picasastarter)... and it was 
a pain, but I found a solution :-). 

So now you can "export" a button, and that button is usable by anyone if they 
put it (and the accompanying script) in the buttons directory of the Picasa 
database...
