May I suggest you add a license file to your repository and/or manual that explicitly mentions both use cases and any limitations? From a legal perspective, it's really hard to interpret what does "maintain the integrity of the package" means exactly.
You can also use a website like https://choosealicense.com/licenses/ to find one that suits. IANAL, but based on what you mentioned I would suggest something like the Apache License 2.0, which requires preservation of copyright and license notices.
