7 years ago Did you install the GStreamer plugins as well? You need to install about 20 packages that are all in a single download. Also, you should use the very latest version. GStreamer is always backward-compatible within the same major version number series.
Within that directory: https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/pkg/osx/1.10.1/
Download:
- gstreamer-1.0-1.10.1-x86_64-packages.dmg - install all the packages that come with that download
- gstreamer-1.0-1.10.1-x86_64.pkg - and install that, of course.
This happened on one machine that I tested. I could not find any video file that would work.
We used MapMap 0.4.0-1 and installed gstreamer-1.0-1.2.4.1-universal.pkg
I tried fixing it using "sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/GStreamer.framework" like suggested in issue #281 but it did not work.
