@albertocottica currently we only use numbers like 1, 3, 4 for both _route_shortname and _route_longname. We should replace _route_longname with one which includes stop and end. Pretty straight forward task, where we just need to adjust one script.

Understood. But I think semantically there is a difference: _route_longname ("from via X to via Y") is a unique identifier, *route_short_name" ("linea 8") is a visual marker for passengers (the number on the bus). Two or more different long names might correspond to the same short name. See #14 .
