Using node-notifier and the Github notifications API

I would use this! You could use https://github.com/maxogden/menubar too :)

Yah! I like that idea :+1: I'm not entirely sure how to do this without consistently pinging the github API and checking for changes. Thoughts?

I don't know of a way to subscribe to notifications in a pushy kind of way... looks like it would have to be a regular GET at an arbitrary interval https://developer.github.com/v3/activity/notifications/
