Topic: Eateries at Sadar Bazar, Meerut Submitted by: Radhika, 206330005
City: Meerut, U.P.
Sadar Bazaar is an area which offer a wide variety of local authentic food items of Meerut and hosts one of the best sweet and chat shops of the city. One of the busiest markets in Meerut, it consists of garment shops, grocery shops, temples, residential area, jewelry market, sabzi mandi and all kind of foods like sweets, chat, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc.
Scale: Street view, zoomed out
Audience: Meerut Bypass Road is often used for travelling from Delhi to Dehradun and to places in between like Khatoli, Daurala, Muzaffarnagar, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun. The biggest factor is that Sadar bazar is only 15 mins from the bypass road making it easily accessible to travelers.
Purpose: To show the tried and tested eateries of Sadar bazar for people crossing Meerut through the lens of localite who has spent most Sundays in this bazar shopping and getting hungry ever other minute.
The colour scheme was inspired from Indian food itself. Indian cuisine is full of reds, oranges and yellows and using the same on the map seemed relevant. A mix of shades and tones allowed better readability. Illustrations will added to give the viewer visual cues about the kind of food they might get a particular place. Illustrations made the maps more interesting.
Landmarks were added for locating the eateries easily, though they are given a secondary emphasis so they do not take the attention away from the main eatery. Entry exit point to and from Meerut have been distinctly marked and exist from sadar bazaar have also been marked.
Final Output A lot more streets have been marked to show a lot more connection of the main roads of Sadar Bazaar and the underlying streets. A 'Kali Nadi' rather a sewer which flows right outside sadar bazar has been brought to the map to build better connection of sadar bazaar to the outside area as well. Other roads leads in and out from the bazaar has been clearly stated to point the travelers to other places, not restricting them to one place for exploration.
Topic: Good destinations for long drives, around Bhilai Submitted by: Shobhit, 206330004
City: Bhilai, CG
Bhilai is a peaceful little city that is known across the nation for its Steel Plant. However, most people travelling to Bhilai are either originally from Bhilai or related to someone who lives there. The purpose of casual visits is usually to just spend quality time with family.
Some of the best experiences I've had is going on road trips with my family & friends. The duration of the trips can range from 1hr to 5hrs. These trips are so enjoyable not because of the destination but the journey itself. Hence I'll be making a map that would be useful for people who are looking to go on such road trips.
Scale: Should accommodate places outside CG as well. Hence, state-level.
Tools used: Procreate (for tracing the routes), Adobe Illustrator (for combining all the routes into one map), Apple Maps (for looking up the routes & duration of the trip) & my notebook (for blind mapping).
Different destinations have different paths. The next step will be to combine them all into one layout. A grid of rings can signify the duration it takes to reach each of these stops / destinations.
More elements such as natural landscape, state boundaries and rivers need to be added in iteration 2.
Here, I have distinguished between the roads (NH vs normal roads). I've also added the "hr" marking to better communicate the time rings. The names of the rivers have also been added.
Colour coding the states made it more readable, as compared to the boundaries. Also, a title has been added.
After the discussion with Prof. Venkat and Rasagy, I understood that there were issues with:
Most of these changes have been made in the current iteration, except for the hierarchy of the stops. I also intend to add annotations for the National Highways.

Town: Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh Scale: From Dharamshala bus stop to the Triund hilltop Purpose: Dharamshala is a popular tourist spot for national and international travelers. Popularly known for Dalai Lama's temporary abode, massive monasteries and Tibetan settlement in McLeodganj, Dharamshala is also known for it's scenic beauty, many yoga & meditation courses and adventure sports. Triund is a hilltop which is a 7km trek from Dharamkot and 9km trek from Dharamshala. This trail is primarily used by the nomad community (Gaddi) of Dharamshala who travel to Chamba in the summers and back to Dharamshala in the winters. Audience: This map is for tourists and locals alike who want to go for the Triund trek during their visit to Dharamshala. This map will indicate the various checkpoints, terrain, cafes and eateries, water streams, distance (in km), guest houses and routes so that one can rely on the physical map in absence of the network. This will hopefully reduce the number of cases where people loose their way and are unable to reach out for help.

Location: Kaziranga National Park, Assam
One of India's most famous national wildlife sanctuaries, Kaziranga is one of the must-visits of Assam tourism. Many would recommend that the best way is to span one's trip over two days, staying the night at one of the multiple lodging options in the park itself. Having experienced it personally, unless you have a local guide, it is difficult to navigate around the area. Due to less network and internet connectivity, GPS and Google Maps are unreliable, and asking locals who are not fluent in other languages might be an issue.
Scale: Mainly showing the tourist routes and not necessarily the entire span of the National Park
Audience: Tourists and first-time visitors
Purpose: Mainly focussed on the tourist's experience – lodging, routes to different safari grounds, and other landmarks. To help easily navigate through the area and to possibly recommend the best way to plan their time here.
Had second thoughts about this area since most resorts and eateries are clustered together at one end of the highway, while very few are along the rest. In the review, I was advised to include spots more to do with unique experiences like Photo points, and areas where specific wildlife was most commonly spotted.
Attempts at abstracting the outline of the region into a simple shape The length of the highway was compressed since marked spots were sparse and there was no requirement to keep it to scale.
Icons made for locations:
Due to the lack of a grid, the map visibly looked randomly arranged. The attempt at the "rhino head" was not evident and did not work at all. Reworked abstraction: Placing of animals seemed to be adding more visual clutter, which was resolved to an extent by abstracting their "zones" into the grid as well. Final:
Topic: Famous Monastries in pandharpur Submitted by: Krishna, 206330013
City: Pandharpur, Maharashtra
Pandharpur is famous for its religious Monastries( Called as 'math'). Every year lakhs of people visit pandharpur who are given accomodation and food by these monastries. Each monastry is different and some have tourist attraction around them like parks and sancturies.
Scale: Town view, zoomed out
Audience: Every year millions of devotees( varkaris) visit pandharpur. They are given food and occomodation by these monastries. I want to create this map for these vaarkaris.
Purpose: The vaarikaris visit most of the popular monastries once they visit the town. It will be good if they have a map which shows the famous monastries and how to visit them.
I started with plotting the famous monastaries in pandharpur on the map. I also plotted some famous spots like Vitthal temple, Pradakshina path, bus stand and River Bhima.
After this, i started mapping the paths that are used to reach these monastries, I made sure that they are all connected with Bus stand and also the Vitthal temple as the primary aim of people coming to pandharpur is to visit the vitthal temple so it was essential to give path from all monastaries to the temple.
I tried to simplify the map by straitening the path without significantly affecting the structure.
After getting feedback, i used an isometric grid to further abstractize the map as no pattern was appearing through it.
Then i added all the math's, temples, important landmarks and roads in the map to complete it.
Finally i improved the color, font and added some details to the map.
After the review from Faculties, I reiterated the map.
Topic : Types of shops in Sarojini Nagar Market Submitted by : Arshiya Gahlot, 206330011
City : New Delhi, Delhi
Sarojini Nagar Market is a very famous market for purchasing very inexpensive products like clothes, accessories etc in Delhi. Everyday thousands of people visit the market. People who come from far away places plan their shopping spree for the entire day. There are a variety of shops that are available in the market but due to lack of a proper map, people might not be able to explore as much as they can with a proper map.
Scale : The zoomed out top view of the market area and all the nearby modes of transport connecting with it.
Audience : Shopping enthusiasts, locals as well as tourists who come on shopping sprees and explore the market area.
Purpose : To provide more information on the diversity of shops and kind of products available within the market. To give a sense of direction to people who are new to the market and want to explore multiple spots and shops within the market.
First Iteration :
Sketch 1 :
Iteration 1 : Its still to be completed and I feel there is lot of Visual clutter because of color encodings. I am trying to work on improving that and making it better.
I am finding difficulty in how should I focus on important elements and making it less cluttered visually.
Iteration 2 : Worked on adding further details to the schematic map
Iteration 3 : After receiving feedback, I realised that the purpose of the schematic map is not fulfilled from what I have done as a part of this assignment. I reconsidered the scope and started afresh now focusing on the essential services near Sarojini Nagar Market.
Iteration 4 : The final iteration of the schematic map came out as follows :
Court Road Market and Eateries Submitted by: Kartik Goel 19U130029
Place : Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh
Saharanpur is a city in North-West Uttar Pradesh. It is famous for its wood carving and furniture markets. Lately there have been all types of new restaurants and eateries opening up in the 'better' part of the city. There is a whole street dedicated to eateries that sell chicken, we call it 'The Chicken Street'
Scale : Top view of a street level area with connecting roads.
Audience: People new to the city, relatives of residents, new residents and youngsters
Purpose: To make it easier for the non-residents/visitors to find locally recommended places to eat at. Google doesn't have a lot of the smaller restaurants which are key to experiencing the food of this city.

Draft 1
Adjusting using a 45° axonometric grid reference
From the feedback in class, and looking at other maps, I made the intersection easier to understand and fit onto the grid better.
I also added borders and highway markers (color and symbols) to the roads and marked the residential areas around with zones. (Draft 2) Also depicted the railway lines going under the flyover for better orientation.
Dark Theme Exploration (Labels not included)
Here, I realized that marking the places with just dots is maybe not enough and I can differentiate the places as what type of restaurant it is (Chicken specialty, Fast food, Restaurant, Bakery, etc)
Icons
(Draft 3)
Here I put the icons and label inside one rectangle, trying to highlight them. But I realized that they were a bit too overwhelming, and the rectangles implied the area for the places, which is not intended or accurate.
I also felt that the icons could be given a bit more importance.
Icons v2
I used these icons, along with labels, with a white halo behind for better legibility.
(Draft 4)
This was working but I still felt it was a bit incomplete, so I added some other landmarks in the area, and also where the roads led in the end (To Ghantaghar and to Railway Station) I also marked the flyover with 2 strokes at the side.

Topic: Life in Tampines Submitted by: Harshitha Kolli, 19U130027 Location: Tampines St 21 area, Singapore
I grew up in Singapore, and spent the first fifteen years of my life living in the same neighbourhood. Even though I have not been there in five years, I can still remember every inch of it like the back of my hand. Tampines is a residential neighbourhood in the east of Singapore. There are plenty of schools, shopping malls, parks, temples, and everything else a neighbourhood needs. Because of this there are also a lot of non-resident visitors to the area, who may not be familiar with it. Since the public transport system is very well built, it can be quite easy to get to and from the neighbourhood, but only if one knows the right routes.
Scale: The mentioned neighbourhood and some surrounding areas Audience: People who are new to the area, as well as visitors like students etc. Purpose: To make it easier to navigate the area and find the main hotspots, like the community centres or the schools.

Hyderabad has a rich history which involves Qutub Shahis, Mughals and the Nizams. I have always loved to visit the various monuments and places that have been preserved from those times. There are some beautiful places that people miss out on as they are unaware of the historic monuments in Hyderabad apart from Charminar.
Scale: Top view with the landmarks and connecting routes Audience: People who are new to the area, tourists and students. Purpose: To help people navigate through the dense city to these important historical relics and provide them with some information about the place before they visit.

I was brought up in Gandhinagar, lived in sector 7 till 7th standard then shifted to a place called Sargasan in Gandhinagar which made it easier to go to places like Infocity, Kudasan and these have a lot of nice restaurants, shops and stationaries. There are two major parks which are both worth visiting. There are many institutes near Infocity as well.
Scale: zoomed out view of places on the both sides of a 10 Km long part of Gandhinagar-Sarkhej highway. Audience: Students of all these institutes coming from outside Gandhinagar. Purpose: To make a navigational guide of some of the places to visit for food, refreshment and supplies.

Jaipur tourism transportation Submitted by: Lakshya Ranwan, 19U130030
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Purpose: Pink city and one of UNESCO's world heritage sites, Jaipur is a very popular tourist destination. The city has a lot to offer: monuments, food, shops, the old city and much more. Traveling and exploring a new city can be a tedious task, even more, if the city has multiple places/attractions to visit/experience. Combining places to visit efficiently can take a mental toll and also physically if not done properly. And in a city like Jaipur, often between your starting point and your destination, there are many attractions that you might miss out on that you could have combined. The sheer number of attractions and the small size of the city make it overwhelming to plan out your trip. The purpose of this map is to help easily navigate through the city by choosing optimal means of transportation along with providing the best possible combinations of routes to not miss out even on the secondary attractions.
Scale: Showing transport routes that intersect and allow for mixing with other monuments and attractions while traveling along
Audience: Tourists and first-time visitors
I started off by plotting the points and finding the directions between them:
I proceeded to sketch it and trace it roughly to get a feel of it:
I went into tracing the major roads precisely:
I added the minor roads:
I went ahead with finding regions of interest around my locations:
It was when I realised the two major roads of jaipur(Agra road that eventually becomes the MI Road and the Amer Road), formed an L with a nice loop. Kinda like the motifs of jaipur.
I decided to orient my map to this L, also the Amer fort is one of the key locations when orienting oneself in Jaipur. Along with the fort, the hills allow easy orientation as you can see them from almost anywhere in Jaipur. I took to illustrator and started making my map with a heavy L orientation. I stuck to the colors of Jaipur, pink and pale orange. I defined the hills and plains using different colors
I added the key locations and the rest of the details.(WIP)
Submission by: Aman Salim, 19U130003 Place: Fujairah, UAE
Fujairah is the main port of the entirety of the UAE. Over time due to immense growth in the UAE, Fujairah has lived in the shadow of Dubai and Sharjah due to how grand the tourist attractions there are. However, tourists visit Fujairah from time to time but are quite confused as to where the main tourist spots are.
Scale: City-wide, entirety of fujairah Audience: Tourists Purpose: To help tourists know the locations and availability of all the main spots in fujairah, even the slightly hidden ones at the less visited corners of the state, to help them achieve the full fujairah tourism experience.

I used shapes to try to put down my location pins, but I didn't like how it looked or felt:
I realized my data was far too simple and my sample wasn't large enough to cover the smaller details of fujairah (which, by itself is already really small), so I went back and redid my abstraction to include more of the state:
Then I designed the icons:
After preparing everything else, I put down the information into the map.
And then I refined the composition a bit, and added the final touches. Here is the first and probably final rendition:
Topic: Bhopal Tourist Guide Submitted by: Saurabh Kumar Sundi, 19u130025
Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal is best known as "THE CITY OF LAKES" and is one of the most cleanest city in India. It has got many historic places and monuments. There are many amazing places tourists often miss out while exploring.
Scale: Zoomed out view of the city covering all the tourist spots
Audience: Tourists, Students.
Purpose: To make it easier for tourists to cover all the tourist spots.
1. A weekend in Mumbai Best places to visit on a 2 day trip to Mumbai city Scale: South Mumbai (from Mahalaxmi to Fort) Purpose: To give tourists and Mumbaikars an idea of the places they could visit in a day or two based on their proximity because travelling in Mumbai is not easy with all the traffic. Hence short trips are crunched for time, money but need to be planned in a manner that still gives people the experience of the city. Audience: Tourists and Mumbaikars out for a weekend getaways and want to make the most of their short trips in the city
Schematic Map Process for A weekend in Mumbai
The major places that I would like to mark in my schematic map of Mumbai city for a 2 day tour are as follows:
The scale seems to be too large, hence it would make more sense to focus on sites in South Mumbai within the green circle marked above. This exercise helped me scope the map better so that I can actually design the schematic map that is useable.
Adding more details and spots in South Mumbai within the inset map. Scoped down the map by excluding the rest of the spots that go upto Worli for now.

Submitted by: Lokesh kumar, 206330003, IxD, M.Des 1. Trekking trial map, around nagalapuram mountain range (fav spot of Chennai) Scale: just a single mountain range with different terrains, and near by places.
Audience: trekking, hiking, adventurous people Purpose: This is the nearest trekking spot around Chennai, one of my most favorite place. People go often to this mountain but they tend to visit only one side of the mountain. but there are lot of hidden water falls and water spots around the mountain. I want to make a map, clearly showing where all you can go and which path you can take to explore these beautiful water spots.
2. Group activities in Chennai for youngsters people Scale: Chennai city Audience: young people (16 to 30 age group). could be college students, young working people even adults. Purpose: There are lot of options when it comes to group activities like paint ball, laser tag, pool etc.. but there are more to it. People tend to get confused where to go as a group to have fun, when the options are scattered everywhere and not clear, which is why I want to make a map of all fun group activities available in Chennai, so people can pick one easily.
Choosing the First topic This is a thick forest trek, there is no landmarks to be shown except the water streams.
Adding a white background to the path to distinguish it form the green backgorund
Icons cover the whole place, so using marker to point the places, It shows which side of the stream the water spot exists.
Reverting back to organic style, I felt like organic mountain looks good and shows you the valley and folds inside the mountain. and Adding all details on top of it

Spots:
Starting with the mental model of the city
And I traced it over a map
And kept all those points which define the geography of the city
Moving on to simplifying the shape, I gave the metro line importance
I found some similarities with the profile view of the belly which is related to our topic but I was not sure if that is something I should do so I continued refining the underlying map.
And added legends and labels
And in a funny outline, description to be added
Moving on I also added outlines to the roads so that they are more prominent
Lastly, I updated few changes made the map so that it can be printed or put on social media stories. And changed one place as I found out that the place has been shut down. :(

Scale: Zoom out view of Delhi
Audience: Tourists and Delhites
Purpose: To give tourists an idea of the places they could visit within Delhi. It has been, since historical times, remained a favored destination for shoppers. From traditional bazaars to modern-day swanky malls, Delhi has everything to offer to a customer. Delhi's street markets are reported to provide a greater turnover as compared to malls. Since not everyone can afford to shop at malls or branded stores, most residents swear by the street markets. The quality of goods varies from market to market. And traveling within Delhi is easy where it has good connectivity of public transport.

Purpose: The three townships mentioned lie between Chennai and Puducherry. Since its not close to the city people find this place secluded. The purpose is to make people coming new to these townships aware of the places they can hangout with their friends or go out to play. Though the township is not so huge so people tend to miss out on places to play/hangout as there is no guided map available which says about such places. With the help of this map people would not feel that they have been stripped away from the city luxuries but will make them admire the beauty of this place.

Topic: Best routes for jogging and cycling in South Chennai (near the coast) Submitted by: Neha Balasundaram, 206330001
City: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Chennai, being one of the 4 major metropolitan cities, is always bustling with traffic, so it was quite difficult to find a nice place to go for a walk/jog, practice sports or cycling (casual or marathons) )with friends or my dad. But after going through the process of finding these nice spots, I think I have a good collection of slightly quiet and less busy places.
Scale: Coastal areas of Chennai. I have chosen the coastal side of the Chennai district as I am most familiar with them. (I may have to narrow down further to just certain areas depending on how the mapping turns out. )
Audience: People who are fitness enthusiasts, and are newcomers to the city will find this useful.
Purpose: This would help people who are new to exercising discover new spots. Especially after the pandemic, people have become more health conscious. It would be helpful in such cases.
Chosen destinations:
To-do:
Identifying the proper roads:
Realizing it resembles the edge of a shoe, also relevant as this is for fitness enthusiasts:
Picking out which roads to map out, identifying water bodies and prominent landmarks
Abstraction, yet to label the landmarks
Icons for most famous landmarks have been added
Legend and Labels for some areas have been added, colors modified
Questions: Is naming the roads necessary? Are the number of roads shown excessive? Should the roads be extended outwards? out of the shoe?
After all the feedback, and reworking the whole map, I came up with the following version.
Submitted by: Jribh, 206330010
City: Khurja, UP
Khurja is a small town in district Bulandshahr, which is one of the largest contributors of pottery exports in India. A lot of pottery articles are exported to places like the US, Australia and New Zealand. Unfortunately, the locations of potteries are not very well documented, even on Google Maps. Due to the town being a small one, it gets a bit difficult to navigate around the local streets, and local perspective can help a lot.
Scale: Town view, zoomed out
Audience: Many people, especially from Delhi, come to Khurja to buy quality pottery for low prices. I would like to focus on such audience, making it easy for them to recognise the locations of quality potteries in the town.
Purpose: To show the locations and accessibility of the potteries of Khurja.
Blind Map: I remember going to Khurja by the main road that I have highlighted, and encountering big potteries and showrooms along the highway. While I was aware of the many more small potteries inside the city, mostly I stuck to the ones on the outskirts due to better accessibility.
Tracing the map of the town: I started with picking a minimal map of Khurja and marking pottery locations on it, but had to take a step back when I realised that covering the whole town may give a better sense of positioning to the viewer.
I started with tracing the major roads and landmarks on a Google Map.
Then, I began my attempts at abstraction. The shape of Khurja and the roads made me realise that a hexagonal, isometric grid would be a good fit.
Some further abstraction of the sketch followed, to increase the minimalism.
Iteration 1: Formalising the sketches into lines
However, I felt this map looked very mechanical, not resonating with the organic streets of Khurja and the intricate handiwork of pottery available there. So, I decided to design a map which is handmade to remove the mechanical feel, while being aligned to an isometric grid, to keep it simple to understand.
Iteration 2:
At this point, I realised that a bit more detail needs to be added, such as green parks inside Khurja. Other than that, I needed to change the colour schemes of some areas a bit, to keep the focus in the centre.
Iteration 3:
I added the labelling and legend for the major landmarks in the town for a visitor to orient themselves. Being a very small town, all I could point at were the major bus and train stations, and the post office. I realise that the most important landmarks for the purpose of this map are the roads themselves. I refrained from forced minimalism because the city does that too, especially in the central areas where an intricate network of small roads and streets prevails.
Things for further contemplation:
I am not sure if Khurja is being highlighted enough, that is, the central hexagon. I purposely tried to merge it with the surroundings because the city has no clear boundaries, and extends outwards into many semi-built areas.
Also, the visual metaphor I am trying to depict is that of a pottery article with some carving or elaborate painting, with the help of a hexagonal map that looks like a cube when seen from that point of view. This might not be coming off as clearly as I'd have imagined.
Discussion and Feedback:
Iteration 4:
I decided to divide potteries into two types based on the quantity of products available, big and small.
Thank you, Jribh

Munnar is situated at around 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) above mean sea level, in the Western Ghats Mountain range. Munnar is also called the "Kashmir of South India". Sprawling tea plantations surround the serene hills of Munnar, which attract adventure travellers hungry for paragliding, treks to Anaimudi (South India's highest peak) and hikes originating at the confluence of three mountain streams. A place with multiple tourist destinations makes the travel tiring and difficult to explore all the attractions for tourists and specially the first-time visitors. So, the purpose of this map is to guide through all the major tourist destinations, in an organized manner so that it makes the visitor clearer about the tourist spots. Scale : Showing the top view of the town with connecting roads. Audience: Tourists and the first-time visitors So, I started plotting the points and finding the directions between them as follows, Firstly, I started with a rough sketch to get better idea, started tracing the major roads. After that I went to more detailing of the surrounding and started marking them out. As per observation; Munnar-Kumily Hwy, Munnar-top station Hwy (SH-18), Munnar-Udumalpet Road and Aluva-munnar Road forms a “K” as shown in the following rough sketch (oriented accordingly). So, I started adding the major and popular tourist spots and the rest of the details.
Palakkad (Kerala) tourist spots Submitted by: Hafidh Farhan S, 19U130016 Location: Palakkad, Kerala Purpose: Palakkad, is a Malabar district in Kerala in Southwestern India and it has lots of heritage sites. It's rich in healthy rich foliage which makes eyes charming. Palakkad covers about 4482 sq km of area. Being a land of mountains, streams, dams, valleys, sanctuaries, hillocks, rivers, forests, and irrigation projects. Palakkad is regarded as the gateway to Kerala from the north. This quaint town is the land of the Palmyras and Paddy Fields. The district is nicknamed "the granary of Kerala". Palakkad is the gateway to Kerala due to the presence of the Palakkad Gap, in the Western Ghats. Considering the fact that Palakkad covers a vast area, off-comers and tourist may face a lot of problems, finding it difficult to locate and reach out in time to the heritages of interest. So an appropriate way to deal with this problem is through the virtuous method of locating and providing virtual guide through crisp and clear design. Here I have tried locating relevant places with appropriate marking which helps things to be sorted out in a better manner. Scale : Showing the top view of the district with clearer routes. Audience: Tourists, off-comers and the first-time visitors So, I started off with locating and making list of heritages sites and then plotted in their respective positions and later on established a route between them making an interconnection network which offers flexibility in the adjoining figure. Finally, I was able to come up with culminated design of the map which focuses upon the problems faced by the visitors. The final design will succeed in aiding the visitors and its attached below:
Hi everyone,
As discussed in the class, let’s pick our hometowns/city we are familiar with, and create schematic maps.
The audience can be tourists (general, or specific type of attractions like pilgrimage, lakes etc.), or a specific use case (such as cycling, educational institutes etc.).
You can see some of the previous schematic map exercises for reference.
You can follow the following steps for your schematic map:
