Tidy up Android status bar handling #1202

Currently the OS status bar goes green at the beginning, when the app loads it becomes black. Maybe making it semitransparent (like in Google Maps) would make more sense. Also, when UI disappears with a tap on the map, it may be worth to hide the status bar, too.
