Please add tourism=aquarium to your recognized map features. See here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:tourism%3Daquarium

It's the third time someone add it as a tourism=attraction instead. This is the last: https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/40563694

Aren't aquariums attractions?

The tag is used 250 times in the entire planet. If we add it to the app, users would start tagging every aquarium they see: in pet shops, in their mother's house, in zoos. I don't think that would be good.

Also, osm.org layer seems to not support it either. Does the changeset duplicate anything?

They can be attractions like are zoos. The point is that a more specific tag exists

I agree it should be clear this tag is not for fish bowls but for bigger structures
