Android maps download not working #6292

Hi, The maps downloader not working in android... when I'm trying to download a map via the app, it shows the download progress dialog, but then it stays on 0% forever... Do I need to configure something? I read something about https, and private.h Thanks.

Hi, If you have built the app yourself then the maps download via the app doesn't work or at least it didn't when I built the app about a year ago. The solution is to download the maps directly via a PC from http://direct.mapswithme.com/direct/ but ensure that you match the data version correctly, see issue #580 for something similar.

Bummer! It still doesn't work! Are you gonna find a solution nearest future??? It've already half a year passed. P.S. And I didn't build the app myself.
