Keep elevation profile available and updated while navigating #7167

The elevation profile is a fantastic feature for bike rides! We used maps.me for more than 1000 km through all of Europe.

One feature that would be awesome is to keep the elevation profile while navigating. E.g. it could be hidden, and open with the additional settings buttons through click on the triangle button bottom right. A blue dot along the elevation profile could indicate where along the profile one is.

Hi!

Progress bar with traffic (for cars) and elevation (for cycles and pedestrians) is in our backlog and have good chances to be planned for 2018.
