Investigate non-profit Slack account #102

Currently our free Slack account has a limited scrollback, which can be very frustrating sometimes! Can we get an upgraded free account when we get non-profit status?

I've thought about this before. They currently have 3 tiers and the lowest paid one is $6.67/user/month. Currently, that would run over $12,000/year :open_mouth:

Great idea about inquiring about non-profit discounts. Looks like they offer free upgrades for non-profits with up to 100 users. Perhaps they'd allow for larger groups at reasonable rate

Besides the unlimited message archive I like the unlimited integrations as well as guest accounts. Guest accounts would definitely be useful. In DC, we have a lot of outside folks give tutorials and we have to move discussions to email.

@camilleanne looked at this at one point - i think that we can actually get it for free. I wish we had $12k a year for slack! That would be sooo cooooool....
